One Eyed, One Horn, Flying Purple People Eater and Pumpkin Patch

Today, we had a treat during Hannah's dance class.  The girls have been preparing for a couple weeks a dance for Halloween.  Families were invited into the class to watch the show.  Daddy had to work late today so I was able to record it for him our on camera.  I think Hannah did a great job.  She's still getting the hang of her Pivots and Texas T but other than that, she's great!!

Afterwards, I treated the kids by taking them to Don's Pumpkin Patch.  The kids from Westoak Woods Preschool went on a field trip to this pumpkin patch so I've heard good things about it.  And then I learned that Ryan and Chase went to this little pumpkin patch yesterday so I knew it would be worth our while.  The kids had fun walking through all the pumpkins, playing in the hay bale maze, and view the HUGE Jack O' Latern.  They actually allowed me to take photos of them as well, so I'm one happy momma!  We purchased 3 pumpkins to enjoy this week.  Tomorrow afternoon, we will attempt to carve the "big one."  Hannah also wants to create a princess pumpkin using her Potato Head parts.

Aww it looks like they had a lot of fun!

Thanks for the tip on the Cetaphil and lice. Thankfully this time I'm only itchy because of my eczema. But with an elementary schooler, the lice tip may come in handy down the road.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
