I think I've turned into a crazed maniac. Or maybe I just really want to lose 50 lbs. I don't know, but I am searching for any moment that I can exercise and have fun. I've decided that I want to train to RUN a 5K. Not walk it. I've done that before, but run one. So what do I do? I think that in 103* heat, I should go RUNNING. Yeah, it didn't turn out so well. First of all, the trail I was going to run heads into a very woodsy area. I was going to run by myself (I know, you should run alone, but the fam was at the park nearby). As I start my run, I warm up with a 5 minute walk and then start jogging for 1 1/2 minutes to then stop for 1 minute, etc. I get into my 1 1/2 minute run and feel like the world is closing in on me and that someone is watching me, so I chickened out and headed back. Maybe I'll try again when it's not so hot and I'm not so alone. LOL.
But I did get my 20 minute workout in today. Totally kicked my butt, but I am now officially 1/2 way through the 30 day challenge. And then, while regroup is playing sand volleyball this evening, I walk the kids over to the park pool and swim/walk the pool with them for nearly an hour. I'm so afraid that I'm going to be sore tomorrow, BUT I had a blast while exercising and keeping my kids active. And now, they have both been sleeping soundly for an hour or so. Praying that they will get up tomorrow for VBS/Summer Camp and have another great day!!

Not crazy at all ~ although I think you should have stuck to your elliptical ;)
As for being sore ... that's the best feeling in the world for me after working out. Knowing I actually DID something!
Keep up the good work -- you can do the 5K!
