Summer has flown by. We officially have 5 1/2 weeks left until Hannah starts 1st grade. FIRST GRADE. I'm losing my baby girl, for real this time. First grade is NOT for babies. LOL
This summer we have been keeping busy. The month of June consisted of Vacation Bible Schools and Preschool Summer Camp. I worked at Noah's Ark during this time, and truly learned what it means to lose my mind. I thought I was going crazy trying to be in a million places due to VBS. I won't be doing that again next summer. I think summer will start when preschool ends. We'll see though. I surely love those kiddos.
Lots going on here's a brief photo recap
Jen's birthday dinner
Potty Training
VBS
Miss A's Birthday Party (school friend of Cayden's)
And this is Cayden's girlfriend, little Miss R. She doesn't know it, but his heart is going to break into pieces when they are not at the same school next year.
A huge 1st for us. We took Cayden to his first movie. We chose to see UP. He loved it.
We celebrated Grandpa's birthday by heading to Daniel and Stephanie's for lunch.
I've been working on my photography skills. This is a photo shoot I took at the park one morning.
I tried my hand at a more professional shoot and took the bridal portraits for our beautiful cousin, Ashley. Here are a couple of my favorites
Of course, these photos were taken over the 4th of July Weekend so we got to spend the weekend with family in Jacksonville. And the kids got to swim in Lake Jacksonville.
And Hannah lost her THIRD tooth.
Another birthday party - and Cayden enjoyed this cake
And another trip to Jacksonville for the Wedding
Hannah is wearing Grandma's dress from when she was a little girl. Love it!!
We're renovating the house - pulled up carpet, painting, took down paneling, more painting, and eventually will be laying down flooring. It's a work in progress, but coming along smoothly.
Renovations Tear Down and Phase I
Clearly we're not finished, but we're one step closer. I think we'll be done by August. . . I hope so!!!
